How much roof area do I need for a solar system?

What do I pay upfront before the subsidy arrives?
You pay the full system cost at installation. The PM Surya Ghar subsidy (up to Rs 1,08,000 in Delhi) is credited directly to your bank account, typically 60–90 days after commissioning and net-meter installation. We also help you apply for a solar loan to bridge this if needed.
Will solar panels damage or leak my roof?
No. Panels sit on a raised, galvanised mounting structure anchored with proper waterproofing at every fixing point. Your roof stays usable and leak-free, and the panels actually shade the slab underneath.
Can I run my air conditioners on solar?
